DIOR - PINK AND WHITE OBLIQUE LOGO BELT
This is a Dior vintage Oblique Logo Belt form the 2000's.
It is a size 85 and measures 1m x 4cm / 40in x 1.5 in approx
Its is in printed canvas and white patent leather. The inside is lined in soft white leather. The buckle is in silvery metal and engraved with the "CD" logo. "Christian Dior" is also embossed on the inside.
The Iconic Oblique print was created in 1967 by Marc Bohan, then artistic Director of the House, to make Dior goods more recognizable (and as all the other Fashion Houses were doing it also). It has been declined in many versions over time, and used on a multitude of items, especially by John Galliano who brought it back at the beginning of the 2000's creating total Logo looks which became very popular and emblematic. . This pink girly iteration is from his era.
It is in very good condition. Note a light fade of the patent leather at each end of the belt.
Comes with Dustbag and Box.
